Walking The Streets

Whilst on holiday, I took my camera everywhere in the hope of getting some nice candid shots of my friend's son. I got some real duff ones I've had to bin because the little one just wouldn't stay still long enough! Was lucky here though, as he had nowhere to go. I don't usually tend to go for much processing (usually B&W or simple curves tweaks for people photos), but the Cross-Processing filter worked a treat here for what I wanted.

Exifs:

Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL
f 4
1/200 sec
55 mm
ISO 100
LENS : Canon 24-105mm

  • Interesting shot. I like it, it reminds of polaroid photographs.

  • an effective cross processed shot - but it has given the little kid rather horror-movie eyes!!

  • Tis a great shot ... but Im not sure about the alien eyes either. Great tones of colour though.

  • You've captured something 'real' for sure but I get put off for the black eyes, this shot would have been special with those details included

  • A good shot, but I find the light pink areas in the highlights a slight bit distracting. Good shot overall though.

  • That child is clearly a zombie! The green tones and lack of a catchlight in the eyes give it an evil look.

  • What javga said also came to my mind: old polaroid! Interesting processing choice that indeed works very well here.
