Here's a portrait of my friend's youngest son. He moved back just as I was about to take the shot, so the eyes aren't in focus as they should have been, but the fingertips are. Despite that though, I really like the shot. I love the look on his face as though he's in his own little world thinking about Spongebob Squarepants (or Bob Spog as it's known in Israel) which was on the TV at the time.

  • Got to get focus right on portraits. Shame ... would have been a super shot. Oh well, better luck next time

  • The wonderful expression outweighs any concern about focus. Excellent image...and priceless in the future. Very nice shot.

  • It's a nice shot but, for me, the blur makes it difficult to look at.

  • The composition is spot on. Works really well. If it were totally focussed it would have been an instant classic.
