Three Windows

Three Windows

This set of windows appealed to me due to the ageing on the shutters. If I recall, they're seaward facing so probably get quite a battering from the salty sea-water mist and spray.

  • I like the high-key feel of this image as well as the fact that each window's shutters is in a different position - as well as the weather-beattn look you mention.

  • Great shot. I love window shots! Nice the way they start mostly open on the left one, mostly closed in the middle one, then completely closed on the right. Shows a nice progression. Great capture!

  • The longer I look at this image the more I see that I like :) The weird almost at random look the 3 windows have. One being different from the other two. The different position of shutters. The almost brittle looking bricks. Nicely spotted!

  • I do wonder why they weren't built at an even space. I guess they were quite a bright blue at one stage.
