Lonely Bus

Lonely Bus

Whilst looking for things to take photos of near the train station, I spotted this bus behind some shrubbery. It was in a fenced off enclosure near the train tracks. I couldn't get too close ("Keep out!" warning signs), but as I was changing lens for the 70-300, the man in the signal box said I could come in if I wanted to, to get better shots. Bonus!

  • The rails provide nice lead-in lines. How refreshing to hear of someone who offers to let you shoot - more often you hear about people calling the police!

  • Yep, this is an interesting shot! How did that bus get there? Very nice, just like the 'next' colored version.

  • Has a "grungyness" to it that is helped by the process.
