Bialik Window

Bialik Window

I've always enjoyed photos of doors and windows, and some parts of Tel Aviv have some amazing examples, (especially in the Neve Tzedek neighbourhood towards the south of Tel Aviv - and there'll be some photos of that to come.)
This window is on Rehov Bialik (Bialik Street), a quiet street off one of the main thoroughfares. There are also some nice examples of Bauhaus architecture down the street too, but I couldn't get reasonable shots that I liked.

  • Looks like you've captured some interesting textures, I love that battered old paint look, gives those blinds so much character.

  • What a great shot! (I always love window shots!) I like the way the shutters on the right are mostly painted while the ones on the left have lost most of their paint. And I like the little trinkets in the window too. Very nice composition and framing.

  • I really like these sagging shutters and peeling paint - well spotted!

  • There's so much going on here even for a traditionally "static" type of shot. The little glimpse inside is nice too.
