Sea Of Mist

Sea Of Mist

The weather last weekend was simply stunning for photography - cold, mist patches and clear skies> I was out for around 5 hours looking for best positions for shots from above the mist. It was troublesome though, as it kept rising and moving around, so one minute clear views were there and the next minute the mist had covered what I was planning on taking a picture of.

As you can see in the picture, the mist is really low and thick covering the valley.

Also, whilst walking around in a park needing a clear view, I slipped and the camera hit the stone cobbles lens first. Luckily the UV filter saved my precious 24-105 L lens I had attached at the time!

Exifs:

Canon EOS 40D
f 11
1/80 sec
70 mm
ISO 200
LENS : Canon 70-300mm

  • A magical feel with the rising mist and the gradually disappearing background. Nice shot.
