Turbine Blades

Turbine Blades

One of my favourite haunts is the local wind farm. On my last visit one of the towering turbines was under repair, with its blades off and laid on the ground. I really like the colour and detail in the bolts and connecting end of them.

  • The open ends are interesting rust studies, and the blades form nice perspective lines pointing to the threatening sky.

  • Great leading lines. I couldn't work out what they were at first, but I like the low angle and the cloudy sky.
