I've driven by this old gas storage tower countless times, and always considered taking a picture of it, especially when the sun is in the right direction as it really brings out the orange/rust colour in the metal. Got lucky today with lovely sun and blue sky (as opposed to the miserable grey skies these past few days!)

  • It's like a massive pint of beer - well, massive glass of beer as I guess a pint is a pint. Fab light (you're right about the rust accentuate that light) and good to see blue sky.

  • It is like a huge pint :D

The light is very good and the blue sky sets it off well.

  • I actually thought it was a closeup of a fancy cup of coffee (from the thumbnail). Nice array of colours/contrasts

  • What a wonderful rhythm and such a strong shape. The brown goes great in combination of blue.

  • Believe it or not, big gas cannister things are also on my list of things to photograph. And I know what milou means about it looking like a pint, heh.
