Tried to get some close-ups of a few flowers at the weekend, but it was a bit breezy so most I took weren't so good. I liked this one though for the shape of its "petals". Unfortunately, I've no idea what flower it was.

  • Lovely colour and nice composition with that peek of yellow. Is it a gerbera? I'm no expert but I've been after one of them to snap and it looks a little similar.

  • Almost looks like plastic :) Such intense colours. No wonder bees are attrackted to flowers - you have to be colour blind to miss this ;)

  • Viewing Nature in macro like this is such a revelation. The details seem to go on forever . . the perfection endless.

  • Great splash of color. You framed this well to keep the yellow "center" off to the top right. Very pretty.
